Family Literacy Day at the Quesnel Branch

January 27th Family Literacy Day at the Library.  Please join us in the program room from
10am to 5 pm for games for all ages.  We will have board games, card games, word search, puppet theater, healthy snacks and door prizes.  This event is co-sponsored with Quesnel Literacy Society.  At 4 pm we will be drawing 5 winning entries from the coloring contest.  Join us for lots of fun.

Board Games for Literacy at the Williams Lake Branch

Come into the Williams Lake Branch the week of Jan 21 to Jan 27 and play a board game (a selection on every table) all this week in celebration of Family Literacy Week. Enter our draw for a prize (to be drawn Jan. 28th).  At the end of the week many of the board games will be available to take for a donation.  Thanks to all that donated games and everyone that comes in to play!

The adventure begins at 7pm in the Library Program Room. Admission is free. Preregistration required: Come to the library to register, or call us at 250-392-3630 to book your seat.

Travels on Sunday to Alaska with Pam Barker at the Bridge Lake Branch

January 16th
1:00 to 2:30pm at the Bridge Lake Library
Dr. Pam Barker is a veterinarian in 100 Mile House. Join us to hear her talk and slideshow about the history and her travels to the bush villages of Alaska using the Iditarod trail vet adventure as background.

With the exception of the Children's Program at 10am, all documentaries will be screened at 7pm in the Library Program Room. Popcorn provided!
