CRDL to Help Rebuild the Slave Lake Library
On Sunday, May 15, 2011, the Slave Lake library burned to the ground along with approximately 40 percent of the town. For the month of June and July, we are asking our patrons to donate new or nearly new books (not more than two years old) that we will send to Slave Lake to help rebuild their library.
Please have a look around your home – if you have some new books that you are willing to pass on for this excellent cause, please bring them into the library this month!
