Maroon searches for the origins of this little-understood and endangered culture and show how it is doing today.

NFB Film Screening:Courage
Wednesday May 16th, 7:00pm, Library Program Room
A documentary on the issues of the "working poor". During meetings organized by filmmaker Geoff Bowie, six Ontarians talk about having to work multiple jobs to get by and courageously explain their strategies for escaping financial vulnerability. Courage is a participatory social-issues film that emphasizes the importance of mutual aid and succeeds in condemning the taboo of poverty.
